Crusing in Fiji
Captain Cook Cruises and Blue Lagoon Cruises both offer three to seven day trips aboard its small cruise ships through to the Yasawa chain of islands. The Yasawa Group of islands are particularly stunning with glorious bays, traditional fishing villages and turqoise waters for swimming. Cruise itineraries take in half day trips to several remote islands with secluded beaches. These cruises are an excellent way to experience traditional Fijian life and soak in the natural beauty of the area. Trips include village visits where you can visit local shell markets and watch traditional dance performances.

Day Cruises
The tiny coral islands of the Mamanuca Group are popular day trip destinations from Nadi. Beachcomber Cruises has a full-on activity programme to its tiny Beachcomber Island. The Whale's Tale is an old schooner sailing around the small islands for the day. Guests are limited and booze is free - the cost at F$160 for the day is excellent value. South Sea Cruises offer day tours to South Sea Island for the active - parasailing, jet skies, banana boat rides and speedboats for hire. For the more sedate, or romantic, Captain Cook Cruises operate a schooner to Tivua Island in the Mamanuca's. Tivua is a beautiful uninhabited coral island with good snorkelling. Kids under 10 go free making this a great choice for the family. Malamala Island in the Mamanuca's is another small and beautiful uninhabited coral island with tours by Fiji Fun Cruises including activities, glass bottom boat and beach BBQ. Day cruises are also available to several island resorts in the Mamanuca Group including Malolo Island and Mana Island and cost from F$65 for the day.
